Interior Design Intern

As a women-owned interior design firm specializing in multifamily residential, affordable housing, senior living, and hospitality environments, we are passionate about creating spaces that are both beautiful and purposeful.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Interior Design Intern to join our team. This program is designed to provide hands-on exposure to the interior design process while helping students and emerging professionals develop technical, creative, and professional skills in a collaborative studio environment.

What You'll Learn:

Throughout the internship, you'll gain exposure to all phases of the design process, including:

  • Design research and trend analysis
  • Concept development and mood boards
  • Multifamily amenity and residential design
  • Revit documentation and drawing production
  • FF&E selection and specification
  • Vendor and material coordination
  • Client and consultant collaboration
  • Construction administration and project installation
  • Professional presentations and portfolio development

Reponsibilities:

  • Research multifamily design trends, finishes, and amenities
  • Assist with mood boards, material palettes, and design presentations
  • Support project teams during schematic design and design development
  • Create sketches, floor plan concepts, and FF&E options
  • Assist with Revit drawings, finish plans, and redline updates
  • Help maintain material libraries and vendor resources
  • Participate in project meetings and team reviews
  • Visit active construction sites and completed projects when available
  • Assist with FF&E installations and project styling
  • Develop and present a capstone design project at the conclusion of the internship

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field
  • Strong interest in multifamily residential design
  • Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office is preferred
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for design
