We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer with strong Construction Administration experience who is passionate about design and thrives in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of full-time experience in the Interior Design and/or Interior Architecture industry and enjoys guiding projects through documentation, construction, and project completion.

You'll have the opportunity to work on everything from new construction high-rises and luxury amenity spaces to adaptive reuse and historic renovation projects, collaborating with some of the country's leading developers and design professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors,architects, and the HDG design team throughout construction.
- Coordinate interior design documents through all phases of design and documentation.
- Manage project schedules and construction administration deliverables.
- Review and respond to RFIs,submittals, and substitution requests.
- Conduct construction site visits and prepare site observation reports.
- Create and issue sketches,clarifications, and revisions using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and/or Revit.
- Review shop drawings, millwork details, finish applications, and installation quality.
- Perform quality control reviews during construction.
- Coordinate with base building architects, MEP engineers, and specialty consultants.
- Ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction.
- Verify compliance with accessibility requirements, codes, and project standards.
Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in Interior Design,Architecture and/or Construction Management
- 5+ years full time experience working in the Interior and/or Architecture industry
- Interior Design and/or Interior Architecture project management and construction administration experience
- Knowledge of project management, construction administration principles and practices
- Deep knowledge of construction documents including architectural, interior design, structure, and MEP
- Knowledge of millwork detailing
- AutoCAD & Revit proficiency
- General computer skills (Word, Excel)
- Proven leadership and communication skills that foster team cooperation
