What makes The Remy apartments ideally located—being steps from the New Carrollton Amtrak and Metro transportation hub—is also what makes it an oasis in an area void of shopping, restaurants or a sense of community.

With that in mind, we envisioned a welcoming mountain resort, with all the amenities of a city neighborhood beautifully brought under one roof. Using a vocabulary of warm woods, earth-toned fabrics and leathers, and rustic décor, we sought to create a social experience throughout its expansive lobby, where one space flows seamlessly into another. A stroll through these open areas brings opportunities for small or large gatherings, multiple spots to telework, and a comfy area to curl up by the fireplace—just as one would find at a resort.
